Hello! 

Today's post may only serve as a test...does anyone out there still read blogs? Once I lost Google Reader last summer I pretty much stopped. And I really do miss it! If this post came to your attention in any way would you PLEASE let me know in the comments how that happened? Thanks so much. :-)

While I'm here I'll share a couple fun pics--just to touch base with anyone who's been checking in here for a while. Last Christmas (2012) we surprised Melissa (my daughter) and the kids with a new Corgi puppy.

AWWW! Her name is Stella and she's kinda cray cray but we love her to bits anyway. So here's a pic from this past Christmas--one short year later.

What a difference a year makes, huh? By the way, I got my dream tree this year, as seen behind Stella and Melissa in the above pic. I really did want to come on here and show you during the holidays, but no matter how I tried--day, night, flash, no flash, near, far--I could NOT capture the magical beauty of the way it looks irl. I really do LOVE it. It would still be up today if I had my way ;-)

OH--and speaking of Corgis, how can I not show you our sweet Sophie, who is coming up on six years old!

She looks almost human! She certainly seems to think she is, anyway ;-) How does she like Stella? Hmmm, let's just say she does her best to tolerate her on the days that she comes over. This pic taken early last year pretty much sums it up.

Been busy crafting, as well as reviving my Etsy shop AND setting up a new shop, for destashing my studio. You can see what I've been making by clicking the Etsy widget up there in the top left of this page, and you can check out my supplies shop here. Right now it's mostly patterns but today I'm putting the finishing touches on a BUNCH of vintage fabric charm packs. I've been to just enough estate sales to realize I would hate it if my girls put all my vintage fabric in big boxes marked 50 CENTS A BOX, but that is probably just what they would do. So I've got to quit hoarding and move it on to people that might actually use it. Hey! I'll come back tomorrow and post that they're up! :-)

I changed my comment settings a few months ago bc it was becoming like a part time job to keep deleting all the robot spam comments, but evidently it just made it way too hard, so I adjusted the settings to make it easier. Please do let me know how you keep up with your blog reading, okay?  Thanks!
