Hello friends and readers who may actually still have me on their blog readers!
I'll admit, after we got robbed last March it pretty much knocked the wind out of me for the rest of the year. Wasn't sure I'd ever get over that, but life goes on and so do we. Another big thing I must admit to you is that in September I started homeschooling my 6th grade grandson, Caleb. Had tried all the local options: private christian school, public school, and public charter, but Caleb is both dyslexic AND unmedicated ADHD so he just isn't your typical sit and learn what they're teaching out of the box kind of guy. Some days are good and some aren't, but overall I think this is the best thing for him and I'm happy that I have the time to give him. (and it really does take up most all of my time). I've been wanting to share this news for a while now because I've come across pretty cool learning tools, books and ideas that I've wanted to share. I apologize for not having made the time until now, and I promise now that I HAVE broken the ice, I'll start coming on here and posting a lot more often. Promise!
For today I thought I'd bring your attention to these pillow covers I've made out of some vintage, handpieced quilt squares that I acquired some time back. I like them a lot and spent several hours photographing and uploading them to etsy today. I hope some of you may like them, too. :-)
Be back soon!
