We are currently thick into Little League. Caleb is a strong player and John seems to be 'team grandpa' for the second year in a row. They've always got him keeping score or counting pitches or even announcing. The boy has come a LONG way from when we first started t-ball five years ago. Here he is in 07, his second and final season in t-ball.
I just love that determination, even then. Adorable! Today he played so well (they won 13-0) that when it was over they 'awarded' him with the team ball. He doesn't usually feel too terrific about his academic career, so I couldn't be happier for him that he has this, you know? Anyway, I remembered that I'd shot this little video at a practice game a couple weeks ago and thought I'd share it here for his friends and family that can't travel up here to see a game this year. :-)
(turn your volume down! I got kinda excited over the double-play and tend to forget I'm yelling into the camera's microphone)
LOL--Just noticed on Facebook John posted a video as well. Not too proud, are we? ;-)
There is nothing in the world better than proud grandparents. NOTHING! Adorable and fabulous. I'll remember Caleb when he makes The Bigs!
