Time for the Easter Bunny visit and Egg Hunt again? My goodness. When you've been taking care of little ones for going on 42 years...it kinda seems like one is in some kind of Groundhog Day movie sometimes, you know?
Melissa couldn't leave work today to go watch Madison's preschool do their Easter 'thang', so I ran over and snapped some pics for her. When I first got there all the kids were whimpering and plastered to the outer walls at the site of that big ol' bunny.
It made me think about how we DRILL our little ones not to talk or even look at strangers, yet two or three times a year we insist on...make them feel bad if they don't...sit on some FREAK'S lap. What's with that anyway?
Well, as one would get closer the others would get warmer.
Then of course as they all got warmer competition had to ensue..."Look at MY bunny! No, look at MINE!"
Then Madison became the brave one, reassuring her friends just like she did a few months ago with that weird Santa.
Honestly, I could do this for another 42 years and still not get tired of it. Little kids seriously crack me up. And lol'ing is a good thing. :-)
Personally, the Easter Bunny STILL scares the crap outta me!
