but here I am AGAIN with a cute quilt and a not-so-good weight loss report.
I really do love that rough/not-so-perfect scalloped edge. These colors aren't terribly accurate. They are closer to the colors in the listing seen here. It's a really nice aqua and I had as much fun putting fabrics together for it as I did the pink one.
I'm afraid, that after three years of use, I am going to have to pull out the dreaded User's Manual for my Nikon D50 and figure out how to make some adjustments. poo. What a no fun way to spend time! But here's a fun way to spend time. Monica recommended it on her blog today and it really gave me a good laugh. Go to Google and in quotation marks type "Unfortunately, <your name>" and see what pops up. Here's some results I got.
Unfortunately, Jennifer is not yet carrying any baby as of the moment.
Unfortunately, Jennifer's spirit refused to move on and her ghost still lived in the home
Unfortunately, Jennifer was not able to compile her thoughts for the Survivor Spotlight feature
Unfortunately, Jennifer looks like she is stuck in a 1980’s time warp!
Unfortunately Jennifer became blinded by love and had some serious lapses in judgment.
Unfortunately Jennifer's mind is as blank as the pages.
Unfortunately, Jennifer's service has slipped a bit since my original review, so I am downgrading it to 3 stars.
And now, unfortunately, Jennifer seems to have replaced her ex-lover with a 62-
Whee! And I wonder why my neck always hurts. This computer sure can suck the hours out of a day, huh? Back in the studio....look at this cool view out my sewing room window yesterday
Not only was it the most vivid rainbow I'd seen in years, but it was a double rainbow. Maybe you can see the *ghost rainbow* in this shot better
Even Caleb thought it was pretty cool, and you know how hard it is to impress a seven year old!
Where were we...? Right, back in the studio. Major cutting project going on. And look who never travels far from whatever it is I'm doing
What?! Huh? You lookin' at ME?
Yeah, you! Pretty cute little studio dog, isn't she? LOVE her.
Our quilter's guild is having a Flea Market at next month's meeting so I thought I'd put some little kits and stuff together for sale. Putting several packs of ABC's together for anyone who wants to make a quilt like this
AND, since I seriously overestimated on the yo-yo cutting for the full size quilt in the works, I am putting together 8 more yo yo kits to make a 14inch pillow top. Well, seven kits plus a sample pillow, probably.
Also thought I'd share some of the SWEET lecien quilt blocks...I'm pretty sure I'd get bored with them before I was ever able to use them all. ;-)
quickly, to comply with General Sharon, my weekly weight loss report. I skipped last week's Monday mtg since I was out of town, but today's report is that in the last two weeks I gained half a pound. Yes, again! But this was the last time, mark my words!! I am on track to stay now! :-)
Back to work for me now. Hope you all have a wonderful week. Stay dry!
