This is one I've been wanting to share since the beginning of these weekly shares, but it's almost impossible to find it without at least one dumb car parked right in front of it. About the only time that seems to happen is Sunday evenings, so just for you, dear readers, I went down there yesterday evening to take this pic. :-) It's across the street from our favorite local doughnut store. Caleb and I have been walking, running and eventually riding bikes up there since before he turned one. I once journaled about that walk of ours here.
The highlight of this past weekend for us was driving to Redding and back (three hours each way) on Saturday to attend miss Kadence's second birthday party. I had a hunch that she would just love pushing a little grocery cart around and was so pleased to find them currently selling at Costco WITH plenty of groceries (the carts at Target don't come with groceries. Or a baby seat. OR a bottom rack!)
I was right! She absolutely loved it. Problem was; so did every other little girl in attendance! The nonverbal exchange going on in this picture is "Our moms are sayin you have'ta share!" "Are you KIDDING me?! It's my BIRTHDAY for cryin' out loud! Can'tya just go play with somethin ELSE?!"
Ha ha, I would NO WAY share my shopping cart if I was Miss K - my guests could just back off!!
That mural is wonderful, love the yesteryear feel of it, lucky you to have so many of these works of art around your town!
