Wow. Nothin' quite opens the floodgate of WonderBread memories like the smell of a new pair of Buster Brown's. How's this for a whole lotta cute?
Awwww! I was shoving them under John's nose at the dinner table last night; "Smell these! Can't you just feel the first-day-of-school blisters on the back of your feet?" Yes, our little man is starting Kindergarten in a week. He's at the golf course with papa right now...it was all I could do to talk him out of wanting to wear these out there. Maybe he'll talk his way into a pair of golf shoes while he's out there today. Yesterday he hit six tokens worth of balls, which I'm guessing is around 150 balls. First thing when he woke up today he was asking to go back. John couldn't be happier :-)
This is what I'm up to today. The rot under the missing tile is what happens when you keep putting off regrouting. argh! The back board finally just turned to sand. So I figured while I was at it I might as well peel off the old wallpaper...it's been peeling at the seams for a couple years now. Better get back to it, considering it's MY bathroom and I HATE having to use John's. The taking apart was the easy part of the program, but I'm pretty sure I've figured out how to put it back together ;-)
