Yikes....I keep making quilts and am not quite sure why. As earlier stated, it's the easiest known way (for me) to put pleasing combinations of fabric together in a relatively short amount of time... This one came to me as a result of redisovering a little baggie of repro scraps my mom had given me, and constantly being inspired by the japanese craft mags such as can be found here. What an added bonus that I remembered I had the states fabric stashed away. The color is a perfect match, just not sure how best to place them. My mom and her sis are on their way up here as I type this (really should be grocery shopping and cleaning!) so I'll leave it spread out and maybe they'll have a good idea when they see it. They're on their way up to Sisters, OR for "the largest outdoor quilt show in the world."
I may join them...not yet sure how well they can live without me around here...

Oh MY!!! So INCREDIBLE!!! Did you go to the show? Love the bright colors with the white, and the state accents are so lovely!!!
