He thought his 'magnetic personality' was pretty cool! While I had hair sticking out to 'here' and was pretty static-y the rest of the day.
Also cranked up some fun old Motown tunes on cable radio that day. Woo-wee I was havin a good ol time hopping around the room, dancing and being just as silly or sillier than Mr. C here. That is, I was havin a good ol time til I tinkled in my pants. Now; it should really have come as no surprise. I remember trying to get our dear mother to play hopscotch with us when we were little, only so we could laugh when she peed her pants, and she couldn't have been 30 years old. So, for that to happen to an almost 50 grandmother should really be no big surprise, right? It bites!
Sitting here putting in my first round at getting a 20 year cd collection transferred to my ipod. Finally. John bought the durned thing for me last October. My motivation is to get it all recorded so I can then sell the cd's at a yard sale next weekend.
BRIGHT IDEA!!!:I'm going to put pics and detailed descriptions in a blog entry here and just put the web address in the local newspaper yard sale ad. COOL!
While trying to appear nonchalant sitting here typing and recording music, I am actually anticipating the UPS man as strongly as a druggie waiting on a fix...I finally ordered the whole line of flea market fancy fabrics and according to the website tracking the package arrived in Eureka at 5:39am today. Which was 12 hours ago. SO WHAT'S TAKING SO LONG!!!???? I'm using it as the accent on some vintage inspired aprons I'm cranking out lately as if my life depended on it. I'll post pics soon.
By the way, before I close out this post, I was just looking at all the pics on my disc and this one of the cats caught my eye. Would you believe I've tried more than once lately to give them away? I know...some would think I should be shot. They are just so beautiful, but I just get so danged tired of sweeping/vacuuming hair. Although, there's a gal up in Arcata who actually weaves and then knits things (scarves, hats) only of cat hair (I know; only in Humboldt County). She'd go NUTS over the softness of their rabbit-y hair.
