This is the first day of Caleb being with his mom as per our new schedule of 4 days here and 3 days there. Kinda strange, after having him 24/7 for the past two months. I'm not even quite sure what to do with myself when he's not around! Last night we took Melissa and her boyfriend Travis and Kate (John's youngest) to dinner for M's 24th BD. Here's a couple pics I snapped of Kate:
I've got some weird nonstop nausea going on that is seriously getting in the way of getting anything done. It's been about a week now. If I look down and concentrate on something (sewing, crafting, etc) for over 15 minutes I get a severe headache/stomach nausea and have to go lay down for an hour. Am going to the chiropractor for it and taking something the Pharmacist suggested but I just have NO PATIENCE FOR IT! Dangit. Time goes by too fast as it is to not be getting anything done. Especially on my no-Caleb days! If anyone has any suggestions or ideas I'd be happy to hear about it.
I did manage to crank out a layout over the course of about 3 different visits to the office art room recently. Finished it today. Caleb with 4 of my brother's 6 darling children down at my mom's house last year:
I have been an absolute empty bucket in the creative arena for what feels like several months now. I think it was a curse to have had all that stuff published earlier this year. I keep hearing some evil little voice saying "Okay, bigshot; what now?" Am trying to be patient with myself. I just got Claudine's new book and on the first page she talks about having gone through a year-long dry spell, so if she can do it I guess I can, too. ;-) Love her and her stuff. I find doing a scrapbook page often offers a creative prod, and at the very least I got a page done for his book.
